New Patients
We understand that there is always uncertainty when trying something new, so here you'll find everything you need to know about booking your first consultation as well as some of our most frequently asked questions.
Your First Consult
During your initial chiropractic consultation, the chiropractor will conduct a thorough assessment of your medical history and perform a physical examination, paying particular attention to your spine and nervous system. They may also use imaging studies if necessary to get a comprehensive view of your condition.
Based on their findings, the chiropractor will develop a personalized treatment plan to address any issues present. The primary treatment involves manual adjustments, where the chiropractor applies controlled force to specific areas of the spine that are not moving the way they should.

What should I wear to my consult?
A loose shirt/top that allows easy movement, and can be moved easily to assess your back, elbows or shoulders. Shorts or pants that have some stretch and allow easy movement – check if you can easily and comfortably squat down in them.
Are we covered by private health funds?
All of our practitioners are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) through their respective chiropractic boards, therefore you will able to make a claim with your private health fund for a rebate.
How do I book in? Do I need a referral from a general practitioner?
Bookings can made via email - alternatively you can make your booking online utilising our online booking system or via email. You do not need a referral from your Doctor to make an appointment.
How many visits do I need?
Some people need only a few visits and some people need more, but most mechanically related back pain (pain relating to musculoskeletal structures) should respond to conservative care within 4 - 6 treatments. However, this varies from patient to patient due to a multitude of factors. Our practitioners will perform a thorough health history and physical examination to determine an appropriate prognosis for your condition.
